Well, some discussions went on today with some friends of mine...
Humans are naturally evil??
Well... that's what came up. Somewhere around humans are created to be naturally evil, so they (naturally) seek to take advantages of situations where others might suffer. Maybe this is true, we humans are destroying almost everything we can get our hands on: trees, coral reefs, even the environment...
Issues like global warming are more often than not ignored, despite the fact that global warming causes the polar ice shelfs to melt, raising the worlds sea levels with potential to drown out lower lying towns... experts even predict that if large enough amounts of water is to be dumped into the oceans, New York will sink.
"Yeah, yeah... that will happen eventually... but not in MY lifetime..." That's what people always think. Experts even argue that ice-ages happen "all the time". It is just that the time frame is so huge it is incomprehensible to our human minds. Think of it, the world is perhaps 200 million years old?? (I'm not sure though) What is 1 million years to earth?? it is NOTHING, humans have yet to live on earth for a couple thousands of years, why should something that happens every million years or so matter to them?
Earth climate is fragile, and by polluting the planet we merely speed up the inevitable. Some fraction of humanity understands this, but could do nothing when people choose to believe otherwise, and indeed founding is forever a problem to these people when authorities keep focusing on the national economy.
What will happen in the next couple of years or so? who can say? prevention is better than cure... for indeed there IS no cure if earth decides to run its natural course...

well... as the title suggest... the changing tides...
People come people go, where they reach for, I don't know...
I see the people around me changing, blending in with the society, creating their own groups of pals and forsaking all others who do not go with the flow. People who happily talks away with their group, blatantly ignoring all others, perhaps even aware of what they are saying might be overheard by others, leading to broken hearts and so on...
Ah... human foolishness... that's what I call it, why do people need to create fractions? shunning all others to do not blend in? we might pride ourselves as a multi-cultural society, but everywhere I go I see stereotyping, though perhaps this is the cause of someone who observes only the dark aspects of life... not so, I do see people who mix willingly with everyone, though the numbers are sad... and most of them are only treated as acquintances, not really friends...
When will these people accept the fact that each individual is their own? One need not have to be the same in everything to fit in with society... so I part with this line I have been living with all these while:

Accept people for who they are,
May they walk the paths of light;
Or perhapts the paths of night,
For people belive in what they want to belive in;
It is not up to others, to choose their destiny.

I dunno why I am so malancholy today, thinking about life. I see the world changing around me, people blending their personalities to suit the social demands of the majority, or perhaps I'm too much of a minority. I don't care for social life, with all the foolishness I see in this dark world of constant backstabbing, people getting themselves killed for no reason...
I tend to look towards to darker aspects of life, monitoring people washing dirty linen in public... saying things that are not fit to be said about their so-called "Friends". Furthermore about the anti-terror campaign started by the US of A... Often I think, if one side, just one, stopped killing, commiting suicide bombings and such, will the strife be over?? What would be the world be life if the WTC was not bombed?
Why can't people just accept each other as they are? I see ethnic compartmentalisation almost everyday, and hear of each religion preaching itself as the preeminent, that it is only them who will bring about "world peace". Come one, how can u bring world peace when you go about saying "you suck" in the face of any others who opposes you, or more particularly, your religion?
Each religion is created to bring human beings together, and there exist not an accepted religion that principally teaches you to be a bad person. (Satanism is not an accepted religion for any who wants to contradict me). It is only the PEOPLE who practices the religion to the extent of fanatism that is the bane of peace. Hail Hitler, creator of the skinheads (Ok so he wasn't the creator, just the ICON??)
I'm not a social person, indeed I prefer to sit in a corner, observing how other people function in their daily lives. Talking to their group of friends, hanging out with them... while I just trudge on with my own life of lonelyness, living with my computer, radio and TCG...

Yay! exams over!! no more all night study sessions!! And the last exam is sooo easy... finnished in 45 minutes!! and now I have NFSU2 to play!! hehe..... so now @ gaming 24/7 a day!!

gaahhhhhhhh... Econs sucked BIG TIME!!! but it was due to the cacatness of my mind... the questions were easy... well, much easier than expected. But since I totally screwed up my midterm, quizzes and everything else, I need to get 70% for this freaking test!! OMG!!! That was actually achievable until I got to the last question... I KNOW how to do it, but I JUST CANT REMEMBER the way to CALCULATE THE VOLUME!!! ARGGHH!!!!!!!!!!! I knew how the graph looked like, I knew the areas of the question, but I just FORGOT the most important part!!! Oh god... DIE... :((
Haiz... but the worst is passed, English is so easy, and for my part I need not study computer applications since I toodle around with my com far too much...

Oh no!! Its finals tomorrow!! I can't believe how fast time flies!! Arrgh... die lah... how to pass??

omg its aready a week since I last posted?? god time sure flies when I am slacking/ trying to study... damn it all... I hate test, I hate studying... gah...

haiz.... still haven study... what to do? I'm a lazy slacker... dunno what to write one my blog also... seems like I'm complaining alot lately huh? :pppppp haiz.... this is life... and I'm just another guy trying to come up with something worth living for....

Arrghh!! I can't get myself to STUDY!!! Watched new police story, played games and blasted the music all day long... but did not even venture near my notes!!! #%^@#%&*@^#)^&R*#$% die die die... :(( What shall I do to motivate myself???

OMG!! I get to eat Abalonde and Shark fin today!! wohuhuhu~~~~ omg omg I'm sooooo stuffed now, and sooooo happy... loves it (It was one of my cousin's pre-wedding dinner) huhuhu~~~ and tomorrow is my frens bday... so he's going to belanja!! damn I'm lucky this month to get sooo much good stuffs to eat!! :) :) :)

Well... draft is over... I lost only to QJ and Kelvin... fair enough coz I trashed Kelvin the last time around... haha...
Ah... the draft today was much better in some aspects but the game with siew was bone tiring - creature stalemate!! Luckily I managed to defeat him caging his Myojin (yeah its the card below, we have not distributed the cards you see...) after he wiped out the friggin' board..

Yeah... I'll be drafting Champions of Kamigawa again today... apparently with Kelvin, QJ and Siew... Well, my MBC deck is still under constuction until I can get all the cards I want... course, that might take some time... And this is my collection... from about a year ago since I have only recently restarted my magic career. :P

Hohoho~~~ yesterday I got to go for a dinner party with my dad... and guess what? they served shark's fin soup!! wohuhuhu~~~ and there are only 6 ppl around my table.. so I get to eat 4!! bowls of da soup!! ahh~~~ I feel sooooo content (I'm a gourmet, I love good food) and the rest of the dishes are good... *pats stomach* huhuhu~~~
Today is mah Open House day!! so basicly alot of food to eat again!!! ohohoho~~~ haiz... I in such a gooooooooooood mood....

muahahaha... I played my first magic the gathering draft game today, and it so rocks! 5 ppl are playing and 4 of us are noobs at darft. Only QJ is an EXPERT at draft, and Siew, Sim, Kelvin and I just do not know what to do at all. As expected, QJ won the draft using a blue white deck(hates it). Siew came in 2nd with his Green Red and then me with my favorite colours - Red Black of course. Sim had to go back early and so conseded his game to Siew... so siew got one free victory >:)

AH... rainy day again... oh I forgot... halfway through the game (when I was resting) someone called Kelvin through siew's handphone. Kelvin's friend has a stomachache and wanted to go back, and so I offered to send her back since everyone else is playing. Lo and behold, the one needing help was none other than my classmate Nadine... haha... oh well...
So all in all that particular day was rather fun outside my daily schedule of boingness... so I'm content...

Ah... just another boring day in life... what am i to do? Its already november... :( 3 more weeks final exams... and to think I've still yet to study a fucking thing... gawd...
Hmm... looks like magic the gathering is being revived... ah yes... yesterday against WC i drew my most annoying hand ever! and so... well he just can't get creatures on the board! (return! counter!)
