Humans: The Fundamental Problem #1
Information Dissemination
I've been in a club for some time now, a club which I considered the best in MMU, maybe its because I've no life, maybe its because its really the best, or maybe Its because of the clique of friends there.
Then came this day where the club's camera tripod was apparently stolen. and I'm the last person seen handling it.
Now the problem.
There is now a new tripod. When I came in the next day I saw the tripod, and thought "oh, they found it" But no, it was a new one, as I mentioned earlier. I didn't know about it, no one told me about, and I got to know it just a few minutes ago by ACCIDENT involving someone borrowing the club's camera without most of the members knowing about it.
Who else knows that the tripod was stolen? unless they were present when someone found it missing, I very much doubt that they would have known.
Is it because humans like to keep information to themselves? would we be happier not knowing? ignorance is bliss right? and now I might be suspected by some of the members.
Normally I wouldn't have gave a damn. But these are the people I considered friends. They're closer to me than my whole family had ever been. It hurts.
Too many things are handled by the authorities of an organisation. The members knows shit. The authorities too don't think the members should know anything because they are not fundamental to the decisions the authorities will make.
That's why the rich get richer while the poor gets poorer.
I hate going into depression mode. I does no good to me, I'll just think about all the wrongs in the world and how I wouldn't give a damn in my normal state of mind.
Specialisation
Is this going to help the human race as a whole. True, we can acomplish our jobs faster, be more efficient was it comes to handling stuff related to our line of specialisation, know tons of techinical stuff about what we do.
so what is specialisation gotta do with information dissemination?
Example: Mind your own business.
Good enough?
I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight.
